With a calm sea and an “endless” beach (it's actually about 5.5 kilometres long) in a line of high cliffs of various colours, it's a beach conducive to walking... its Praia da Falésia, in Olhos de Água.
The recently released Tripadvisor list of the 'best beaches in the world' lists the Albufeira beach Praia da Falésia as No.6, first place going to a Baía do Sancho beach in Brazil.
Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel guidance platform, just announced its Best of the Best Beaches for 2023, as part of its annual Travelers' Choice Awards. To determine the list, Tripadvisor analyzed tens of millions of reviews of beaches from around the world, specifically looking at the "quality and quantity of ratings for beach experiences."
